Full range of airport navaids solutions
ILS / DME
NORMARC landing systems have been an industry benchmark for more than 30 years. Well over 100,000,000 safe landings have been carried out with help from NORMARC at nearly 1100 airports worldwide.
The NORMARC 7000 Instrument Landing System (ILS) is designed with the customer’s requirements in mind. Through careful preparation in our factory, we manage to considerably reduce the complexity and amount of time the field engineer spends on fine-tuning. This reduces installation and commissioning costs significantly and offers the customer high lifetime value.
Recognizing the need for a sustainable solution, the NORMARC 7000 ILS adapts effortlessly to the steady increase in traffic at airports. Upgrading from a Category I to Category II/III airport with the NORMARC 7000 ILS is simple and cost-effective, supporting long-term growth success.
DVOR / DME
The NORMARC Doppler VHF Omnidirectional Range (DVOR) ground beacon from Indra is one of the primary navigational aids for a nation's airways system. It is a ground based, radio navigation aid, transmitting an omni-directional signal that enables an aircraft to determine its bearings relative to the location of the beacon.
NORMARC Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) is a ground based navigational aid for use by aircraft. Signals transmitted between an aircraft and a DME ground beacon enable the aircraft to accurately determine its distance from the beacon. The DME is used at an airport or en-route, and is one of the primary navigation aids in an airways system.
Telescan has represented Southern Avionics Company for many years. SAC NDB (Non-Directional Beacon) Systems are found around the globe at airports, offshore rigs, and vessels.
Installing an NDB system is the most cost-effective way for small airports, offshore platform rigs, and harbors to provide a safe and effective instrument approach. Our systems are built with the highest quality standards and are designed to meet or exceed IP66 standards.
